Finally an update!

I've been sufficiently shamed by enough of you that I had better post. It's been quite a month. We have passed all inspections. Insulation held us up a bit, but we are now proceeding at a pace. We have a targeted first floor move in date of July 30 & 31. Here are some photos of what has transpired over the past thirty days.

Drywall being delivered to second floor.

Plumbing, gas line, dryer vent, septic and central heat and air in basement.

All those utilities need to exterior vent. Teri Soares is developing a landscape plan to mask.

Wood burning insert installed. A few bricks shy a a full load but that's nothing new.

Who knew what decay lurked beneath the front porch...perhaps this is why it significantly listed to Davisville Road. Notice the circular posts....those are used to build docks.

Yeah baby...walls up! Office with raised ceiling.

Upstairs landing.

View from upstairs landing with removal of wall.

As you can see...we really needed to re-frame front porch.

We are delighted with the result!

Interior trim work for back screened porch off master bedroom taking shape.

Custom re-creation of exterior detail work on guest bath window.

Inspiration for choosing interior paint colors.

Wood flooring being installed.

Kitchen cabinets being installled.

Master bath cabinets...lurking in closet.

Appliances awaiting installation
